Michael Clanahan
FOUNDER & HEAD COACH
Michael founded The Birds Nest on a simple belief: that the most overlooked variable in a golfer's performance is their body. A TPI-certified coach in Golf, Fitness, Power, and Junior Development, and a certified Personal Trainer and Nutritionist through NASM, Michael brings a rare combination of technical knowledge and athlete-centered coaching to every session.
With over a decade of experience coaching young athletes in high-performance competitive environments, he understands what it takes to develop both the physical skills and the mental discipline that translate to results on the course. Whether he's working with a junior golfer chasing a college scholarship or an adult player managing a nagging injury, Michael builds programs that meet each athlete where they are and get them where they want to go.
